Abstract/summary

This report aims to present the background and evidence on IPR in a straightforward manner and then sets out to evaluate the potential options from a UK perspective. It makes recommendations to BIS, as the sponsoring Government department for WEEE, on how an IPR system could be practically and realistically implemented in the UK.
