On 10 June 2020, Eunomia Research and Consulting Ltd ran a workshop with TOMRA to debate the pros and cons of different approaches to designing extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes and to agree on what features and design options might be the most advantageous and appropriate for Poland. This paper explains the agreed approach to designing an optimal EPR scheme and presents recommendations on the overall design for Poland.
