Current domestic and foreign studies on the operational mechanism of reverse supply chain based on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) was reviewed from three aspects, namely, the responsibility assumption, the organizational patterns, and the gaming among participants of reverse supply chain based on EPR. To resolve problems appeared in the studies, the research framework of these problems was set up. Fundamentals regarding product clustering and dual conception were analyzed. Finally, the research trend was also pointed out.
